AMERICAN SWEDISH HISTORICAL MUSEUM PRESENTS..."KIDS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE: BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW"

Tuesday, July 18, 2017 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Did you know that more than 99% of Sweden's waste is recycled or reused as a source of power? The American Swedish Historical Museum will help you explore ways Sweden is leading the way to "build a better world." Children will learn about sustainable energy and environmentally conscious architecture. This program includes an interactive introduction to the topic, hands-on activities such as building model-sized energy efficient homes, making pinwheels to demonstrate renewable energy, and creative opportunities to brainstorm how kids can "build a better world!" Seating is limited and registration will open beginning June 1st. Suitable for elementary age children.
